nted Miles to be replaced as well, it was time to in the end but jesus, I don't understand the hatred for the man. You would of thought Les Miles kicked your dog and raped your wife with some of the comments in this thread.

I've never seen a fan base more willing to shite on an historic tenure at lsu just because you they don't like the coach.

Obviously besides the have a great day moment..

The Columbus Day speech. Hands down. It’s not St. Patty’s day, that’s a different day entirely.

Most favorite moment Miles was involved in- hoisting the crystal ball after winning the BCS title (btw, this also is my favorite Saban moment).

Most favorite Miles speaking moment- "damn strong team/I represent me/have a great day" speech.

I can't see how LSU fans, whether they liked the man or not, did not enjoy and appreciate both of those moments.
For those that disliked him even then, remember- the speech wasn't about him leaving or not, it was about him choosing to leave to go to Michigan (which was apparently a better place to be in the expert's minds). We'd just been left by Saban for greener pastures, and now it looked like Miles was going to do the same thing.
Instead, he forcefully made it clear that he wasn't leaving LSU for anywhere, even his beloved alma mater.

2007 and 2011 are the crowning achievements of the most successful tenure in LSU history.

Les Miles put his own personal stamp on those seasons unlike many coaches ever have. LSU was the story of the year in both of those seasons from week 1 until the very last game of the year.

The 07 and 11 teams rose to the pressure unlike any Tiger team before them and became only the second and third LSU teams in history to start and end the year in the top 5 in both major polls, something LSU hadn’t done since 1959.

That 59 team was the defending national champions and was led by Heisman winner Billy Cannon. They started #1 and finished #3, but failed to win the SEC.

Miles led LSU to SEC titles both years under enormous preseason pressure, and national title games both years, winning one national championship.

In those seasons, Miles not only orchestrated some of the biggest and most dramatic wins in school history, he became a household name and his personality shined through on the biggest of stages.

For me, the moments where his personality stood out and even became bigger than the games themselves are before the 07 SECCG when he called the press conference to end all press conferences:

And in 2011, after demolishing #3 Arkansas to complete the first 12-0 season in school history:

Btw the 2011 season we went 13-1 not 12-0, no clue why Miles sycophants continue to dishonestly say we went 12-0 or undefeated in 2011 it makes you guys look retarded.

He didn’t say regular season and used the word complete which is just a way to ignore what happened when all the chips were on the line. There’s no need to misrepresent the 2011 season it was a great year but we just fell short. Hiding the final outcome in language loops is simply using selective facts to prop somebody up.

I was clearly talking about being 12-0 after beating Arkansas, which is the moment I said was one of my favorites.

I even posted it in gif form, and you still couldn’t make the connection, huh?

No I just caught you misrepresenting the season that’s all. It’s something the Miles crew often does and I was just asking why.

The thread is “your favorite Les Miles moment” you nincompoop.

The moment I was referring to was after beating Arkansas, when we finished the regular season 12-0 as West Champs.

Time for bed with your sisterwife, Aerys.

Lol what a pathetic liar you are and you just proved it. In your first post it was “complete season” now you throw in regular season and pretend that you posted that from the start. Why so angry little guy? You used selective facts to misrepresent the season and got caught that’s nothing new for you. Again a lot of Miles sycophants do the same when taking about 2011 I’m just currious why. It was a great season without you embellishing, all it does is make you look delusional.
