Any punt we have that is actually returnable has a scary chance of being a long one. That missed extra point could have sunk us as well. Not to impressed with peveto

I don't know, but they need to get some of our playmakers out there. I don't care if they put all starters out there

I really wish we would take LF off of kick returns. He hasn't been super effective there and he's getting absolutely blasted on every return. If he's going to get 20+ carries a game put somebody else back there. That is a lot of wear and tear on a young kid

We would've blown UF out had it not been for the miscues and missed assignments on Special Teams. Debose ran one back for 6 and ran another one to the 2 yard line to set up for another 3 points.

What missed assignments? You made the claim, now be specific.

Sometimes Occam's Razor applies, i.e. the opponent has a really, really good player.

Correct me if I'm incorrect but, punt coverage is supposed to be in layers. From what I saw, the entire team was in one big front and Debose ran right past them.

Peveto. One of the only coaches I've ever seen get a second chance at a premiere program after a complete shite showing when he was here. To add to that, he was a failure at his job after LSU but still gets hired again.

Is this dude helping with LBs this year? Serious question. I know he coaches LBs too but I'm not sure if LSU gave him that duty outside ST. He did when he use to be here. That might also explain why the LB play has been HORRIBLE for the most part this year...he's a terrible coach and needs to find a new job at the end of this season. We don't have space on a staff that needs good coaches who can recruit. I think Haley will at least be gone after this season and hopefully Ensminger/Peveto too. I don't think Chavis is going anywhere with his bloated salary. We need better coaching on the staff and up our recruiting game. SEC is getting more competitive. Bottom dwellers like MSU/Ole Miss have steadily been improving over the years and are now the best teams in the SEC.

We are tied for #1 in FGs (though we have the least attempts with 5), but are 99th for extra points with two misses. Figure that one out...

We are tied for 108th for long punt returns against us.

Our kickoff and punt return game is about as unexciting as I can remember so far. But at least we aren't fumbling 2 or 3 like Bama did yesterday.

We are very lucky to survive special teams breakdowns last night.
Unfortunately, it will take more disasters before Miles will consider whether PEVETO was a mistake ( again).

Peveto of course. Look how good Kentucky is doing since they unloaded him back to LSU.

Why do our fastest player on Special Teams insist on running past the punt receiver? You are taught since Pee Wee football to break down, chop your steps and stay in front of the returner, under control, in order to make a tackle. These guys want to deliver the big shot instead of doing it correctly. Looks like a track meet out there with guys running for the tape. The most basic of special teams skills is not being taught or enforced by the coaching staff.

JJ must have shared his pictures of Les with Peveto, there is no other explanation of how he keeps his job.
