re: What Is Worrying About Etling...

Etling has done exactly what we need him to do.
He will never be a top 2 or 3 SEC QB, but we have the horses to help him out.
His decision making alone is light years better than last year. That by itself is enough for optimism.

It's better to underthrow than overthrow, you give the receiver a chance. If it's overthrown, no chance.

I think you're full of crap for thinking he has a weak arm. I'm guessing your HoF xbox/playstation play calling and qb's equates to live action on the collegiate level. You must've forgotten about the 55 yd. pass (in the air) he threw against byu.
You also obviously can measure the distance when he throws in the flats............
Stick to xbox/playstation, "bro"!

Bingo! Intermediate throws

His arm is fine. He's not a guy who is going to fire one in the traffic on a rope though. He has to be a good decision maker and pick the open guy..

QB s are poorly coached and play calling sucks. Now I've contributed to this suck as topic.

This board is going to call for DE's and CEO's head once they get comfortable enough to start throwing the back shoulder passes.
"Too many underthrows! Receiver has to actually stop in his tracks!"

The deep throw to Chark was incredibly well placed.

Please list when it happened in the BYU game.

Smh, down votes because you speak the truth. Etling has played well but he's got to keep improving.
Posted on 9/10/17 at 8:20 pm to KennabraTiger
So you agree the WR's had to fight to prevent an INT against BYU? You and I watched different games.

Agreed, DE has tremendously improved from last season, but he needs to keep improving.

With those comments, it is very obvious you have never played a down of competitive football!!!

next time before you comment, make sure you have some semblance of knowing what you are talking about!
