They haven’t started fall camp. Word is that no one knows yet, including the coaches.

He's good, he's not buried. Delpit has a lock and Battle is pretty locked in too. He will see some nickel time this year.

Harris had some good playing time as a true Freshman.

You are all forgetting someone who is likely the starter. Eric Munroe and he will be an all American in the next couple years

Greedy Wiliams was redshirted in his freshman season. In one year, he goes from sitting on bench to becomiing the #1 CB in the nation! Don't judge a player by his freshman year.

Monroe is very talented.. He can be the next great S. He and Delpit could be the best n the Sec. As far as Todd the coaches were really impressed last year with him. His work ethic and football IQ is very good from what I have heard. He saw more action than most thought even the coaches. He is about to start his 2nd fall camp so now he’s got a year with Moffit, some experience on the field, and soon to be 2 summer and 2 fall camps. I believe he will see plenty of action this season when they go to 6 db’s Possibly Nickel at times depending on the opponent

Next up after Delpit & Battle. Played quite a bit last year, especially after Battle got a little nicked....

Or safeties will play a bunch this year with our lack of CB depth. Delpit & Harris can play as corners in a pinch. When we go Peso (5 DBs) that 5th DB will be a safety more times than not imo.

He made a really solid tackle on Pettigrew in the spring game. He looks the part. I expect him to rise pretty close to the top and very shortly.

And what I like best about the tackle? Dude got up and ran back to the defensive huddle!

This isnt rocket science here.... we're talking about the secondary at LSU. You've already got the "DBU" nickname attached to the program and the fact is that if you're not the absolute best of the best then you're simply not going to be able to get onto the field very early. Grant Delpit was one of those guys who was just ready to go from day one and earned a starting spot, but the list is long in terms of all the guys who had to wait their turn or simply had to go somewhere else. I mean Jacoby Stevens, Eric Monroe, Todd Harris ...these are all guys who were highly ranked at the safety position and all of whom will have to put in work and time in order to see the field. This isn't a place where anything is just going to be given to you. I have no doubt that a guy like Todd Harris might have been starting by now at a number of other schools but he's still here and I believe he will eventually work his way into the rotation and get some meaningful snaps. All of these guys have the potential to go pro and they come to LSU to get there.
