What is the opinion of Alleva and F King outside of the Rant?

This board’s opinion of the competence of the AD and President has declined over the years and on an exponential rate the past couple of weeks.
But we are all reading the Rant which makes it seem that LSU fans everywhere despise Alleva and F King. But is that true outside the Rant or does the Rant make it seem that way?
And if the disdain does run outside the Rant also, do you think that Alleva and F King are privy to it or is completely in the dark how universal it is?

I think more casual LSU fans probably don't know enough to have an opinion on FKA or Alleva, but those who have an opinion almost unanimously dislike him. Alleva has alluded to how his job is always going to be a thankless one in good times and a target for criticism in bad times, so I'm sure he hears it.

My parents, who are not particularly tuned into LSU sports, hate them almost as much as the posters on here do. My dad hates F King for mostly non AD related reasons.

Asked every Tiger fan I saw at the game today. Not one supports the way Alleva has handled this.

Pretty sure most of the people who attend basketball games are not on the rant. The crowd reaction during the Vandy game would seem to indicate that at least for Alleva the disdain goes beyond the rant.

There's a thread over on the SEC Rant about Alleva's comments after the game today. I haven't read it, but it might be a good place to start if you're looking for outside opinions.

I guess I am wondering if there is so much collateral damage that the only solution for those in power that Alleva and F King has to go. Otherwise LSU Nation will never accept any decisions they make and will only look for anything to be critical of them.

Well I guarantee you that 90% of the blue hairs that booed him in the PMAC at the Vandy game aren't on here if that helps you out.
