He was thought to be the best OC at the time of hire. When he went to FAU we moved onto others most would of put Canada into that group of A-Tier OCS before last season.

Well thank for the truism, des.

You probably forget to breathe sometimes if you're not constantly reminded.

The 11-1ers don't have a firm grasp of reality. They remind me so much of climate deniers who insist there is no relationship between rising CO2 levels and increasing temperatures, even in the face of mounds of evidence supporting it.

There were absolutely people here that wanted him.

Hell, the man was a FG away from 10 wins and 2 FG away from 11..
He also could have lost close games to Syracuse, Auburn and UF to finish the season with 6 wins if you really want to do the what if game.

Right, but in the end he won 9. Which, is not "sky falling" material.

Like who? Less than 1% of fans?

Why do you O sycophants always resort to this? My life is fine and quite enjoyable, thank you. It certainly isn't tied to the hopeful success of an incompetent college football coach.

You're the one that started trying to change the outcomes of games, not me.

Only winning 9 with the SEC the way it was last year was a major missed opportunity.

Less than 1% is more than zero. Sorry facts bother you so much.

See you exemplify my first post on this thread, you assuming simpleton, I didn't care for the O hire but we're stuck with him, hence the see what happens attitude. I don't have a lot of confidence in the guy but I do believe in aranda, SE and the players.

My prediction at 6-6 is based on a very tough schedule and the unknowns on offense.... plus O is not the right man for THIS job....

“Simply “Troy””

It’s not simply Troy for me and not for most people. It’s fla. in 2016. It’s its Miss.St, Troy, and ND in 2017. It’s having RB unable to perform who is suddenly allowed to play. It’s telling the fan base you learned your lesson bout being too Involved in the offense and that you were going to hire the very best OC and get out of the way. Only to seriously get in the way five games into the season. It’s about deciding on your second try that you don’t need their very best of the OC and in fact, you don’t even need someone who is been an OC for the last 20 years. And more just like that.

Coach O has the job. I think most of us hope and pray that he is up for the job, but this idea that you are not a real fan if you have some doubts about what’s been going on for the last two years it’s just silly.

Our last coach took LSU to to national championship games and he got raked over the coals here on a regular basis. It comes with the territory.
