None of that has anything to do with Ochinko. We’ve had the same approach since 2014.

How many hitting coaches have we gone through since 2014? Massive turnover creates uncertainty. If we had a long term, established hitting coach, LSU would be better at the plate.

Our approach would be the exact same. Mainieri believes in being aggressive. He wins a ton of games with it and should not be fired because of it, but it’s the opposite of the way the game is trending in general, and we often find ourselves in more trouble than we should be because of it.
