But will Mile's let him coach? I'm afraid Mile's is stuck in the Bo Schembechler Cougar Melloncamp school of hard knocks.

Miles isn't going anywhere anytime soon. We would need to have consecutive losing seasons before the athletic department would start to feel the heat. There is a mile long waiting list for season tickets plus Miles is doing a great job recruiting. Believe me, it's going to take more than people bitching on a message board for Miles to be ousted. BTW, did any of you LSU alumni were given a survey to take? I was asked to take two. The first one was a perception of LSU and how I thought about their academic programs. The next day I was asked to take another survey on the overall perception of the athletic program and the direction that it is heading.

I fell less hasnt got a clue about his team besides jj and ridley. Oh he knows other players also, but he looks at them as a way to make some players look good. Iam talking about offence of course. He wouldnt regonize a great player if he saw one. And the bad thing is if he did get one he wouldnt know how to coach him.
With that said auburn will lose to alabama later this year because of coaching. Saban game plan will be beat them long and play the run... he will score points and wont stop when he is ahead. There was no reason for the tigers to lose yesterday to Auburn.Maybe we should be more like boisie state and play down so when its time to play the big games we wont have any one hurt or banged up..just like them..it would make for good practice and i would bet lee could use the playing time to get better

Please elaborate. Which of these teams coaches were fired after winning 9-10 games? Frank Solich is the only one I can think of, and I'd bet Nebraska would do it differently if they could.

Do you really think that, no frick that, or you really naiive enough to think that we on a message board are the only ones complaining? On a message board I read people who actually take up for the guy. In the real world I might talk to or meet 1 out of about 20 that take up for him.

We got our butts beat last night period. We only lost by one touch down though. Our O line getting spanked all night was a huge factor in our Lack of offense. I would have liked to seen more deep balls thrown though. I am not the biggest Les Miles fan but can't say I know better than him though like a lot of the experts on here. A lot of people on here sound like a bunch of little children. It's a contest and we lost to a damn good team. I don't see anyone beating this team imo. I'll leave to all the experts on td to figure out.

Then if you have such a problem with him quit going to games. If your so outraged delete your tigerdroppings account because you have no use for it until he is gone. That is the only way you will ever be heard. Do you think that someone that makes millions of dollars a year gives a shite about what you say about what should be done. The only thing that makes a guy like that notice is when you quit buying. No one on here is too that point because no one is stupid enough to do that when we are 7-1. You just want something to bitch about like a bunch of fricking women.

Posts like these show the ineptitude of our fanbase. 9 or 10 win coaches don't get fired unless there are off the field issues. If they do, no one worth hiring would ever take the job. Forget the buyout.

The only way to get rid of Les is if he commits or is framed on a felony.

I wonder how many other 7-1 teams are singing this tune? I could see ditching Crowton, but while Miles has had his moments, he hasn't sunk nearly as low as Archer, Hallman, or DiNardo.

Its not gonna happen this year. The best we can hope for is that Crowton will be gone.

It won't happen unfortunately. But I will say if they lose the rest of the games including ULM and finish the season 7-5 then I would say there might be a better possibility but outside of that it won't happen.

Hey Reality, it's apparent that you obviously don't have a clue what it takes to oust a coach, especially one with a winning record. You need to get real and graduate from high school. I sure as hell hope that you're not a graduate of LSU, because if you are then I know that my yearly contribution to the alumni association isn't going to any good cause. FWIW, I'm a realist you doesn't panic when LSU loses one game. I'm mature enough to recognize that the sky isn't falling and that LSU is not a perfect team. Yeah, my money to TAF is going to help to oust a coach with a winning overall record at LSU. Sorry to break you "Chicken Littles" bubbles, but LES isn't going anywhere in the near future. As for Charlie Mac, he was ousted for constantly not being able to beat Bama and The Bear, plus LSU was always in the middle of the pack in the SEC towards the end of his coaching career. It was time for LSU to be headed in another direction and under the direction of Mac, it was at a stand still. It would have been very interesting to see what Bo Rein would have brought to the program.

TAF could buy him out but they won't unless we totally flop and lose 4 games. The most likely scenario is a new OC. Miles would be next. And save the, it's better than Dinardo, Archer, etc BS. This isn't 20 years ago. The trAitor set the benchmark. We expect more as fans now. That's what 2 BCS titles in a decade does. The bottom line is play effectively and be competitive. Auburn dominated us, and the coaches made no adjustments to fix it. Why can't a coaching staff that costs 5.5-6 mill annually, I don't think that's an unrealistic request. Not making these adjustments is unacceptable
