How much did he sign for at Norte Dame?

quote:Your definition of the term “blocked” seems to imply there was no way for him to coach at LSU under any circumstances, while everyone else knows otherwise.

Got a promotion and someone from LSU screwed up reading his contract. O never held a formal interview with his arse either

I don't know if getting a new position and a raise is being blocked.
Every report is that he wanted to come and the Saints refused to budge on the clause to allow him to go to LSU.

1. Freeman wanted to stay close to him. very simple.
2. Nielson was blocked by the saints.
Why is this so hard to understand?

You do realize they aren’t physically restraining him inside the Saints facility right? All the Saints did was enforce the contract and ask to be compensated. Neither Nielsen nor LSU wanted to pay it.

1. Payton already lost a talented coach to LSU and now he is coaching against him in the same division.
2. More importantly, Neilson just saw Payton’s last asst head coach get the HC job with the Lions. Pretty easy choice for Neilson to stay.

LSU offered more money to Freeman than Notre Dame did
That doesn't mean he couldn't use LSU as leverage to extract more from Notre Dame.
In fact I'm sure he did just this.

Orgeron is not very good at hiring coordinators.
This is not recent news.
