GFY.....so when it's good, the rant is ok...but when a kid does ignorant things enough to get sidelined, we should is it accept it and not be pissed and talk about it?

What is there to talk about? Seems pretty clear the kid smoked weed, as a college freshman. No, not the smartest decision because he is on the football team, but he ain't the first and won't be the last. If he keeps himself clean he will be a contributor, if not he will try and find somewhere else.

So no, there is no reason to be pissed.

Toliver going pro. Gotta get that rookie minimum contract. He could be a first rounder if he comes back.

I agree that he should come back. Donte probably should too, as he continues to show he can play any DB spot, but he may have shown that already. Toliver is for sure a CB, and needs to show he can lock down the best in the league (like Calvin Ridley), because that's who he will face every game.

Do any of those fathers have a taxpayer/fan funded scholarship to play football at LSU?

Did LSU forego giving a football scholarship to another kid who doesn't mind following the rules, so that a kid who doesn't want to follow the rules can come here instead?

How many of those included in the "1/2 of the student body" that "smokes weed without repercussions" accepted an athletic scholarship from LSU and contractually agreed to follow the rules applicable to members of athletic teams?

This isn't an infraction that only hurts the student/athlete that broke the rules. It hurts the team who was depending on him. It hurts the kids who could have been given the scholarship, but lost out because the scholarship went to somebody who was selfish and cared more about himself than the team, the school, and the people who paid for his chance to be a Tiger.

Whether you agree with the rules or not, he knew what was required and bound himself to follow those rules. So don't tell us we don't have the right to express our views.

This young man is significantly paying for his transgressions. To be without the sport you've loved for a year and watching others play where you envision yourself has to be the worst..
Admin, can we kill this thread??

True Tiger fans are looking forward to having Kristian back next year. He and Greedy will make a great tandem along with whoever else steps up during the Spring

Fulton, Greedy, and hopefully 2 out of 3 of Cook, Joseph, and Surtain will help the cornerbacks hold up their end of DBU.

Who would play CB opposite to Greedy if Fulton doesn't pan out? Vincent? Xavier Lewis?

Hey, keyboard warrior. Your taxes help pay for my upper tier TOPS and I smoke almost everyday. So he smoked a little pot, so what? People make the biggest deal out of that crap, but not the player who gets arrested for assault or stealing and is back with the team in two weeks.
