That's a tall task. I think he wins one of those at best. If we lose Miami it's going to get ugly.
I think we play UGA closer than people expect and people hang their hat on that saying that "we comin." Another moral victory.

He is not getting fired this winter if he goes 8-4. Seat will get hotter but they are not firing him in his 2nd full season as HC for going 8-4. IMO, he would have to card a 6-6 or worse to guarantee a canning this December.

As much as people will laugh at and disagree if Lane Kiffin lights it up at FAU he will get serious looks. Guy wouldn't be a monster contract and has experience recruiting in the SEC

I don’t think so. I think Alleva went way way way out on a limb with the search. First by claiming “I am the search” getting played by Herman finally by refusing to regroup after Herman and simply hurriedly hiring O.
Bottom line Alleva can’t admit a mistake and be allowed to make the next hire.
So imho the record is not very relevant. O is safe as long as Alleva is here.

I'm not sure he cares all that much since he knows fans buy into the idea that nothing is his fault. He took over a "disaster" of a program, not his fault. He hired Canada. Not his fault. He promoted Ensminger. Not his fault. He lowered the recruiting bar. Not his fault. He played a bunch of freshman. Not his fault.
Honestly. 6-6 and he's still here in 2019, and he knows it.

I guess that it's also impossible for Bama to target undefeated season's as well. Some of you have been laying down the pre-excuses for not winning the West this year for Zeraux already.
Always thinking that 10 wins is good enough while not making the SEC Championship game and instead of heading off to some shite.com bowl game is ok is flat out accepting mediocre results year in and year out.
