I have come to believe that he is an excellent practice player, who unfortunately panics in crunch time situations. I think he is average when it comes to field awareness, recognizing defenses, check downs, and 3rd down conversions. Doesn't run at times when thats all he needs to do to keep the chains moving. The shame of all is that LSU hasn't had great success in developing QB's under CLM.

What is Brandon Harris' skill set? For me?...End, Guard, and Tackle.

ISWYDT

I watched most of his games his senior year. I think it's a combination of defensive schemes vs him with better talent, and I think he's more comfortable in spread type formations. Parkway had a passing offense. Threw it 30-40 times/game. I don't believe he ever gets comfortable, with pressure & fewer targets running around out there

And Jennings was Jordan Jefferson 2.0 . See the pattern. Harris successor would just be Brandon Harris 2.0 under miles.

I've never seen anything out of Harris that tells me he would be even close to what Francois did with Jimbo's offense on Monday. I mean you're right he doesn't get to throw it that often, but when he does he typically makes his receiver work damn hard to get it.

Simply put I'm not convinced Harris could play QB in any system at this level.

Seriously we need to open up with more receivers, the season is almost shot already and miles has nothing to lose... Throw the ball around do zone read options make Brandon mobile, put pressure on the DBs with more receivers and eventually the running game will pick up with a more open offense... Do like jimbo and run pass plays that your an is comfortable with no make him throw over his body running to his left and so on

What's his skill set?? Well, according to his own words over the summer, "I've got the best arm in college football".

Harris is just as every bit as athletic but Francois has size. They showed a pic of Francois from behind while under center and he has legs the size of tree trunks.

I keep seeing ranters and commentators alike saying LSU is not using Brandon Harris' skill set. What is his skill set and why did we recruit him?

You will know in about 3 years. My guess is selling cars for a year or two, then probably working for Magnolia Distribution.

Watch his first game against Miss St, that's his skillset. Mile's and Cameron's coaching or lack there of caused the regression. I feel bad for the kid, if he played for Fisher or Meyer probably becomes a 1st rd QB.
