Saban didn't win the title in year 2 at Bama but let that get in your way of your shitty posting habits and making up shite.

And here is a prime example of the goal posts being moved for O. This year the new qb and new OC excuse will be used heavily when every team faces some sort of challenge in the lineup and staff.

You’re right the expectation should be an SEC Championship appearance

Something Saban did in year 2 both st LSU and Alabama. After losing to UAB and ULM

So cool we all agreed on the level of expectation here?

I can accept 3 losses IF the passing attack develops this year and is good by the end of the year. realistically, with a first year starter, we could lose some games just because of that.

Agree - especially since the schedule is more difficult.

I don't necessarily expect much improvement in W/L since our schedule is harder and most of our offensive production will be new starters, but I do expect to see improvements through the course of the year that make me think 2019 is a year we compete for an actual division title. (meaning 1 or less losses).

I am Just wondering about yours.
I personally Expect a lot to call a season successful.

But some might choose to treat O like he isn’t a good coach, and hold him to a low standard.

Not really. Les would not change what are fans suppose to wish for in that case?

With a new starting QB its B this year and A next.

He won the SEC West so that is the standard.

I hope that we win every game. Very few teams can do that. Very can win enough to make their league championship much less the playoff and National Championship. That's the realistic view. I hope that we finish #1 in SECW and win the SECCG. That should get LSU in the top 4 playoff. Just surviving the SECW is a feat that could get you in though.

Sammy baby, y'all schtick is old man. It's same 5 of you m'fers in a circle jerk and regurgitating the same shite. It's a f'n tired act. I seriously hope that you're getting paid for this shite, man.

I refuse to allow myself to become negative over what a football team does. Those days ended long ago. Grow up, man. Piss off!

Same as any other year: Competing for a west division title.

Mindset in 2010-2016: Competing for the SEC Title
Mindset in 2017-2018: Competing for the SEC West Title

I imagine if O sticks around a few more years you'll see people hoping for 8 wins and considering it a success if we get it.

So now we're about being realistic?

Every year under Les people expected to win the SEC but now it's about being realistic.

Whatever you say, man. I could careless what you think should be standard. Your expectations and standards don't necessarily qualify as anything more than some random bs on a website. It means actual dick to me. However, I hope that we can get back to being SECW champs again. It's been awhile.

We will start passing the ball 30-40 times a game and blow everybody’s mind. Oh and with a supposedly an unproven QB. The sky has to be falling. People I am here to tell everyone to calm the “F” down... we have 2 STUD QBS that could have been interchangeable with either Jake Fromm or Tua Tagliavoa. Yes I just said that. I have seen them all live, up close and personal and I am telling you put in the same situation both Brennan and Narcisse would have been capable of the same results. And they are both on our team!!!! Ok Supposedly Brennan did not beat out Etling, neither did Tua beat out Hurts but he did pretty good in the Nati game. Either one of our guys arguably would have done the same thing given the same opportunity. Jake did not beat out Eason except for a season ending injury. But Fromm did pretty good. So would either one of our guys given the same opportunity. Most of us have no idea what we have at the QB position because it is unlike anything in recent history. That I promise!!!
