Some of you guys know way more about this than the rest of us...what is a reasonable, plausible path for LSU to rid itself of Alleva and Orgeron?

Some things I’m not sure about...

1. What becomes of Miles’ buyout if he gets another job?
2. Why is the end up of year two the “magic number” for firing O? Doesn’t the buyout only drop $4M to around $8M total?
3. Can the financial eviseration of LSU’s football program (Millions in lost revenue from concessions, parking, souvenirs, etc) when everyone quits coming be enough to expedite this process?

It is surreal to think that we are in this big of a predicament. This will truly set this program back 5-10 years.

You have to hurt LSU in the short term in order to see real change happen. That means you have to stop giving them revenue. Don't buy tickets, don't donate to TAF. Plan and simple. Once their revenue starts seeing serious dents and they're falling out of being a top 10 revenue athletic program then heads will start rolling. When you see change...you can go back to supporting the program. This entire, "we need to hire one of our guys" and the good ole boy network culture in Louisiana needs to die. It's a cancer especially in the LSU program.

The ones who will really make them take notice is the big booster/alumni that donate millions to TAF. When they stop doing it they'll have no choice but to listen.

Hope that the FBI finds something similar to Louisville at LSU. Clean house.

If we keep O for this year and next that's 2 years of sub optimal recruiting, add in another 3 once we get a new coach to get their correct players in and we could be 5 years from 9-10 win seasons again. Just gotta hope the good in-state players still want to come here after a few really bad years.

That's the least of our worries. Dinardo got Kevin Faulk after six straight losing seasons, and we weren't a long term national power before that.

What about Miles? If he gets a job the end this year then does that, or does it not, get us off the hook for what we owe him?

There has to be a path to expedite this, especially now that the national media including SVP on SportsCenter and USA Today, are destroying our Athletic Dept leadership in very public forums.

. Three years of poor results in football- in other word time- and lots of it combined with consistently bad performance.

With Orgeron, that's a good possibility.

1. Form a Men's Lacrosse Team
2. Hire Black Strippers
3.
4. Profit

Not talking football record...bigger picture. How do you make the financial puzzle work? Seems that the biggest wildcard is Miles getting a HC gig.

I'm not sure, I just hope Alleva cans O to try to save his job, but a new AD comes into play to hire the next coach. This whole thing is a cluster when the President and AD both need to go.

We need to hire private investigators to dig up dirt on O. That way we can fire him with cause and no buyout like his buddy Hugh freeze. Alleva will go down with him.

Short answer is more losses on the field and in $$$$$.

Sadly $$$$$ is the greater issue. If folks stop giving to TAF it would help.

The drop off in $$$$ giving has to equal or surpass the buyouts.
