What is #28 Jhase Thomas doing on this play??

Cued.... Not easy to watch 10:57 of the 3rd QTR
#7 Whit Weeks is about to make the tackle on the RB and Thomas goes low right at his lower leg. Never even came close to the RB
Weeks seemed OK. even helps a player get up... Next play #90 Green gets the Sack.....BUT Weeks engages with O-Line and realizes he can not plant. They never show him walking/limping off the field
Later in the game i'm like WTF Weeks is on crutches & walking boot leaving for locker room
Yeah it's football...chit happens
But this is plain goofy!!! SICKENING

Not that difficult to diagnose. Thomas dove where he was planning on meeting the RB based on the angle he took. He went really low, which I don't love. They all 3 met at that spot. Unfortunate to say the least

Just another example of the lack of fundamentals in the game.
Doesn't "see" what he is suppose to hit / tackle.
Doesn't use his arms.
Doesn't even attack the ball carrier.
If he wanted to tackle the guy by the legs, then he should have attacked the guy's legs and used his arms to wrap him up.
His decision: "I'll just throw myself on the ground in front of him and hope he trips over me."
I don't have any confidence that there is anyone on staff who will address that weak @ss sh*t the way Nick Saban would.

That’s honestly hard to watch. I’d hate to be him in the film room.
After watching a few times I actually do think he tripped himself up. It was very unathletic and shouldn’t have happened either way.

Gonna be awkward when they go over the film Monday. Care to explain why you dove at your teammate's legs and totally missed the ball carrier?

He didn’t dive at Week’s legs. He tripped and fell.
