this type of "what if LSU beats ________?" scenario seems to pop up multiple times every season. It seems as though people are perpetually extending the shelf life of Miles here at LSU. When was the last time LSU won one of those "what if" games? Whats the last big game that LSU has one?

no doubt the top dogs in the SEC are Bama and Fla:
We lost to Bama two years in a row
We lost to Florida two years in a row

The problem is not only do we not win the big games, we have lost too many of the regular ones. When was the last time LSU won a big game that had conference and national title implications??

what is it about Florida that makes you think this game isn't winnable?

They are playing a team coached by Les Miles.

You're watching a different UF offense than I'm watching then.

Fla offense is better than our offense.

Not to mention, at least they have good coaching.

We squeeked out a victory against TN only because Dooley found a way to out-stupid Les Miles. We should have won by 10 or more based on sheer talent and experience.

FL had their world rocked by Bama and knows they are in the hot seat with an improved SC team. FL will lick their wounds and beat us soundly. Unless something changes on offense we will lose to FL, Bama, Aubie, and Arky...

No true LSU fan would ever pull for us to lose. Having said that, I see no way we beat Florida. Yes, they are beatable, but we will have to play an outstanding game with no turnovers and the defense will have to really have to dominate. If this game were in Tiger Stadium, I would feel better. Gators are going to be mad as hell Saturday.

but wait. florida has a freshman qb(s). how many times have i read on here that our qb play blows because he was only a freshman, then only a sophomore, and now only a junior. seeing as how that's the case, it looks like a lsu rout.about the only thing that could possibly hold us back might be_______uh oh.

This happens every week IMO. LSU looses or any team looses and you're out of the running.

Again, what Florida offense are you watching? They're about as inept as LSU's offense.

Not much is being said about them playing us and Bama back to back. Look at us after Bama the last two years. It isn't pretty. Reminds me a little of what it used to be after teams played us. They were pretty whipped.
