Georgia lost a close game against a top 10 opponent on the basis of a missed field goal. They shouldn't fall far.

Georgia is top four. There simply are not four teams better than Georgia.

They are out. The body of work for Georgia was not as good as last year.

Are there four better than Bama, which has a better resume than Georgia and whose only loss was game one of the season? FSU, Michigan and Washington are in. Everyone knows Washington is not top four, but they are in.

As long as Bama gets screwed I’m happy.

Honestly, Georgia wasn’t impressive. At all.

ETA: Serious question, what is Georgia’s biggest win this year?

Mich 1
Wash 2
Texas 3
FSU 4

No SEC team will be in the CFP despite winning the last 4 Nattys and 5 out of the last 6.

If they were truly number 1 then that is as far as they should drop. Losing a close championship game. The SEC is down this year. But I agree Georgia was not the number 1 team --only ranked that high because of performance last year.

UGA didn’t win their conf championship and they are not going to let Bama jump an undefeated conference champion that won with their 3rd string QB just so they can rematch a team that beat them already

Alabam won every SEC game this season. UGA should not be ahead of them

Whats the difference between Ga and Ohio St.

Ohio St lost to the number 1 seed Michigan, in Ann Arbor.
What if OSU moves up 2 spots to the No. 4.

Neither will happen, fyi.

Georgia is undoubtedly one of the top 3 teams in country but they have no shot

CFP TV ratings plummet. Now you know why.

Washington will be this years TCU. If they get a top four matchup they will get blown out. Simply not a top four team.
