LSU has not yet offered him a solid extension. He is not highly paid as a top college coach and another school could easily offer him 5.5 or higher.
Is Alleva going to let him slip thru our fingers as the rest of the nation sees his genius?

LSU football would cease to exist.

That's cute, but if he performs the way most of the fanbase is demanding (or else he is gone..) then yea it could be an issue. Say we go 11 or 12 wins next year what then?

He will NEVER have an offer from a school as big as LSU. EVER. He could make the playoff and it wouldn't matter.

The only way I could see other schools being interested in him is if he makes the playoff without Aranda.

Then the hypothesis will work and we have proved that literally any decent recruiter can win 10 games here and we will go find another

I know how you feel. I remember worrying that someone would poach Buddy Teevens.

So absolutely NEVER, unless he succeeds without Aranda. Got it. Man look I don't think he will ever leave LSU or be taken from LSU, but some of the posers on here are so dead set in being right about him not being a good coach that they're hoping and praying he doesn't win and Fact of the matter is he could very well win very big here.
