Why on earth should he have started Lee in that game?

It would be the perfect F.U. to the Tiger faithful. Quite honestly, I'd love for him to do it just to see how this board reacts.

Harris doesn't get the 3 WR look because he tends to stare at one anyways. And when he does throw it's over the head of the intended WR and to the other two that were not previously in the game.

Yeah, your reply and my response both got axed. I guess that's why I had never heard of it. Must be some truth there.

Well, if he does that and Harris fricks the game away, Les will be driving another nail in his coffin. Right now, regardless of how the season turns out, Les needs to go at the end of the season. Even if things go good from here on, Les should have never put us in the position we have been in over the last several years.

Evidently, Alleva is catching some hell and has decided to pass it on to him, as evidenced by his talking with Les about the status of things a couple of times this last week. The scowl on Les' face may well be that he is finally feeling the heat and is pissed that folks won't let him do it his way without ultimate consequences.

There is no "if".

Miles will start Harris next week.

Harris AIN'T starting against Miss St unless Etling gets hurt this week in practice, and since you can't hit the QB in practice there is a very slim chance of that happening unless it is a fluke injury.

No he didn't. In the game at Tuscaloosa Lee started. JJ came in after Lee threw the interception and JJ was the starter the rest of the season.

Despite the well known Miles stubborn streak, I still get the strong feeling that Etling will start.

But I would not be totally surprised if Harris did.

Cool hindsight.

Lee was god awful against Alabama in the regular season. One of the only reasons we started to move the ball in the first game was because Jefferson came in.

Oh, and we still get fricking housed on 1/9 even if Lee starts.

Even if he does start Harris....
We're all pretty certain he will 3 and out a few times and the boo birds will take care of the problem.

Etling will start though. Les' butthurt will wear off eventually.

I think this will play out similar to when Harris came out smoking against New Mexico State and then got the start to Auburn. Miles has no choice but to start Etling against Moo State. If he bombs like Harris did against Auburn, we never seen Etling again. If he does well, Miles waits until he bombs then we never see Etling again.

J. Lee threw 7 career interceptions against Bama, while JJ threw 2. That's the only stat that matters in Miles' mind.

But it wasn't hindsight when we were down 15-0, it was reality

and still Miles did nothing
