I'm pretty sure that MSU has always been a test for most, if not all, SEC teams.

Yes, we've whipped their asses many years, but it's usually contested...

Is it the program or the fans? Because the fans were not confident in beating CMU last week. Id imagine the coaches/players were though.

The program sure was confident that they were beating UCLA.

What don`t people get about emotions involved in a football
game.Just as LSU slept walked through the UCLA,Mc Neese
games Miss ST did the same with La.Tech and Memphis. The
Dogs whipped a good NC ST team.Emotions and being mentally
prepared is the most important factors in college games.
Both LSU and Miss St will be fired up and play up to their
capabilities in my opinion and it will be a tough game.
Talent wise LSU should win but MSU has enough talent to
win the game with turnovers.Every team has talent and Miss
St has always had big O and D lines and they seem to have
a decent QB.So before you throw coach O under the bus
take these things into consideration.

Lol I bet you were singing a different tune whenever Mile's slept walked through some of his games.

The standard is to kick the shite out of teams like State. The goal post doesn't get moved because special Ed can't reach it.

a bad culture.

-Coach shite talks SIssy Blue. Gets raw-dawged.
-Neil Farrell does a great Griddy on a second down stop. UCLA gets a first down next play.
-most wide receivers are performing the first down sign after a good catch. Or the bicep muscle pose
-dbs are performing the incomplete sign or finger wag after a neat first or second down stop. …..against CMU and mcneese

The culture is not about winning. It’s about look at me.

Finger wag? First down sign? Those are bad culture? Just stop. The dudes get excited and express that on the field. It pumps them up and it pumps the fans up. You can make first down signs after big plays and still want to win. Look at Burrow.

Some of yall, I swear

Yeah that stuff is cool and all when you're beating teams by 40.. Not getting blown out by UCLA.

It’s sad what Ed has done in two years. Hopefully this year they only lose three games or less. Anything worse than that and he needs to go.

To be fair every team around the country not named Bama and UGA is struggling so far this year against far inferior talent teams.

Ohio State
OU
USC
Clemson
ND

The better question would be what’s going on in college football as a whole? Did no spring football in 2020 and some senior years of football of recruits being cancelled cause this much turmoil?
