Doesn't get worse than last year. Absolutely pathetic coaching job.

2008 had a decent offene

Really? We had the worst INTPCT in the SEC and one of top 10 worst in college football. We had the lowest passing efficiency in eleven years. We had seven pick6s which is the most for a season in NCAA history.

If that is a decent offense, we haven't had a bad one under Les or in LSU history.

I have to go with 2008, Miles only losing SEC record at 3-5.

Miles put too much emphasis on Bama in 2012 and it showed. After that heartbreaking loss, the team gave up.

Yes, the team absolutely gave up. They gave up so bad that they finished the regular season beating Miss St at home, beating Ole Miss at home, and beating Arkansas on the road.

2012 they won 3 SEC games after Bama only to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Florida game stung.

So much "what if" 2010-2013.

Last year was his worst IMO. 5 losses all in uniquely humiliating ways.

Each to our own, but we beat some pretty good NR teams last yr. in Wis. and Miss. I don't recall us beating anyone in the Top 25 in 08.

In 08 we shot ourselves in the foot game after game both on the O and D side of the ball. I will take the 8-5 of last yr. over the 8-5 of 08 anytime.

When you look at results vs. talent, 2012 was the one that was championship caliber.

2012 was one of his better coaching jobs IMO just in how we revamped the OL midseason. you go thru all spring and fall with a good 5 man unit (including 4 returning starters), and by week 6 or so, you're playing 3 backups. not to mention the Tyrann issue, or Blue going down after such a strong start, or issues at OLB (Tahj being out for the reg season, Kwon getting hurt).

had that team stayed relatively healthy and finished 10-3, I'd give him grief. but I thought he guided em thru some issues really well.

has to be last year, but started in the natl championship game against alabama. Stubborness set in pretty hard that season and last season he played the media and fans again with the QB situation. If you want miles to change something make him think his ideas are the best

Wisconsin and Ole Miss were nice wins. It's splitting hairs I suppose, but in 2008 I feel it was more excusable given the QB situation and the very light 4th year class given Saban's late departure.

I guess the 08 losses were to top 15,teams, minus a very bad Arkansas team. Ga Tech finished the year ranked and we beat Auburn while they were ranked. They were not good though.

I see Arkansas and notre dame as just unacceptable. He owns the QB situation

I say 2008 because of the RP factor. Miles LOST his tam will all the chances he gave to the guy that was supposed to be the leader on offense... The attitude that whole year was just not right....

Yeah, outside of the early heisman campaign for Scott (which quickly died down), Lee's first start against Auburn, and the win against GT, it was a truly depressing year. It just felt a lot worse than the record. I mean stompings by UF and UGA, OT loss against Bama, the really bad loss against Ole Miss, and the late loss against Arkansas, it was just a really depressing year for LSU football. I don't know what category you put the game against Troy. Maybe both because it was pathetic to be down that bad against them, but we did make an amazing 4th quarter come from behind victory.
