The LSU fan base is setting up their tailgating spot tonight or prepping for tomorrow like they have for 20 years. Their kids and grandkids will be there too with nerfs and frisbees. Food and drink will be great and although campus parking is shrinking tailgating will be fantastic. Tigers that can’t make the game are prepping watch parties with friends and family as we speak in Houston, Dallas, Denver, Nashville, etc.

The fan base changed with the tradition fee added a lot of long time fans with large blocks of tickets couldn’t afford the price, had to reduce number of tickets. Some companies buy tickets and distribute them, many times to the enemy. It’s still wild but nothing like the 1960’s and early 70’s.

Corporate take over of tickets.
The freebie tickets are given to friends or clients who don't gas/gaf about LSU or LSU Football.
70s, 80's and 90's were prime.
The slow and steady decline in Tiger Stadium Atmosphere is directly related to LSUAD price increases and PIM Demon-Devil noise.
