Outside of an unthinkable loss to one of the community colleges on our schedule, UCLA is the only loss that could truly tank the entire season. And we are not even touchdown favorites in that game. So that is my answer.

The only games that scare me are the ones being played by political bureaucrats with our health.

I don't get "Scared" over ANY LSU football game, but that UCLA game had huge implications for the season and program.
That game has to be won for the team AND the fan base.
Neither will recover if they can't beat the Bruins and I don't like the fact that they have an important tune-up game and we don't.
SW may secretly prefer a loss, because many close to the program know that he wants his own HC in there.......

UCLA...It's the first game against a team that will already have played a warm-up game.

Ourselves

Lots of unknowns on this team.

New OC who has never called plays, new offense.
New Dc that has never been a DC at this level. New D
OL full of returning guys, but they were not very good before. Little depth at OL.
One true TE with very little experience.
A premadonna At CB who avoids practice because it might hurt his draft stock
A head coach who took a year off

There are more, but you get the point.

Well damn I guess we should just pack it up and give up hope completely with that outlook.

But I expect talent alone to get past UCLA.

This unfortunately did not happen, a clearly outclassed team in terms of talent defeated us. We couldn't stop them, it was embarrassing. I pray we win 9 games and salvage this season, it's gonna be tough again.
