I really don't understand how expectations for a LSU head coach can be so low.
A winning record is all you ask?
After establishing such a distictively poor body of work over the past few years?
Really?
A upset win over Kentucky and you're fine for a few years while we continue at this rate?
Forreal?
I 'm a realist, and we ain't Kentucky, but we deserve better than this.
Fire him and let's move on.

I happen to believe in what he's doing.

I hope the man gets it done here cause I don't want to see another coach come in and need 3 years to get his system up and running.

He has had two big issues to over come...Brady had almost nothing lined up after that Sr class Trent walked into and La HS SR talent has been down for a few years.

La has some fine talent coming out soon...I hope we get our share!

Fair or not, TJ has little to no room for mistakes, injuries, or just chit happenings. imo

Nitwit, outside of his first team of Sr.'s, he was left nothing. Now after 2 years of recruiting, they are better than they have been the last 2 years. He's one or two players away from having a solid SEC team, IMO.

So you want LSU to fire him, go hire some other subpar coach and start this process over? Like I said, then we're like Auburn. If LSU won't spend big time money for a big time coach, then keep TJ.

I'd say that if Trent's team doesn't make it to the NCAA tourney next season, he definitely needs to be let go.

I don't pay too much attention to LSU basketball these days, other than what I read on here. Dale's last few years, never liked Brady, and now the sleepy years with Trent.

Hell, Bubba Hotep makes LSU basketball more exciting than Trent.

Most of the season tickets in the lower bowl are sold. LSU doesn't care if the people actually show up.

He gets a pass on year 2, but they were just as bad, if not worse in year 3, with 3 years in his system. He is better than the last 2 years, but still worse than average. That is the bottom line. Stop making excuses. Brady won more games under possibly the most harsh probation in NCAA basketball history. He didn't succeed fully, so he was canned. Trent should see the same fate if we don't see drastic improvement.

I think we should debate this after every game, win or lose.

I think you should make some holier than thou post that implies that you are above this type of discussion after every game even though you have been contributing to the discussion.

It's not excuses. They are better than the last 2 years are they not? If they are better again next year, then he should stay IMO. That's what progress is. But if they regress next season, he should be fired.

We all know Brady's history and that has nothing to do with TJ.

Wow someone with some sense. I agree with this whole heartedly. I'm saying they are gonna go 7-9 at worst this year so I want to see 8-8 or better next year.

Hey Jester, you must be a kid and a Brady lover. LSU's sanctions were mild compared to some of the big name programs. Before you show your ignorance, and post your drival, do a little research before you post. You need to look up the sanctions against Kentucky, UCLA,etc. before you post. If Brady is such a great coach, then look up his record, since he left LSU, and then NOTICE the conference he coaches in since he left LSU. If he is such a great coach, then why didn't the national basketball programs interview or hire him when they needed a coach?

Did you even read my post, Gramps? I'm a grown arse man and I have been around the LSU basketball program since I was in diapers. You will never convince me that anyone got harsher penalties than LSU did after Daddy Dale pulled Costa Concordia on our program.

I even said I don't want Brady back. However, Trent Johnson has been a step down in success after Brady was fired. You wouldn't dare argue that point, though.

Hey Jester, apparently you need your diaper changed. After you have a clean diaper on, then your parents need to teach you the meaning of the word research. After you discover the meaning of the word and do a thorough seach, then come back to me and kiss my 61 year old arse. I went to LSU, graduated, and got two degrees. My first degree was back in '72. How many degrees do you have from LSU? If you have any, then please respond to the following question, where is Graham Hall and Kirby Smith? Plus where is the AG Center and what sport was it used for. More recently, what dorms were leveled? Guess what kid, I belong to TAF, and your ignorance definitely shows.

For being 61 and all those degrees, you sure sound like a mega-douche.

Jester, I do agree with many of your points. It's easy to pile on Brady because most people are casual fans and all they know is "Brady sucks or we suck" The intelligent fan realizes Brady wasn't a savior but he brought LSU to heights most didn't think possible considering the cards he was dealt.

Also, for the tools that keep saying Brady left nothing, HE HAD A TOP 15 CLASS COMING IN BEFORE HE WAS CANNED. So please stop using this asinine argument.
