Not much of one. Arkansas won that Regional.

What about CSF coming to BR at the #1 since ASU and UCLA will likely take the seeds out West?

Keep Fullerton away. I don't care if they choked last year in the CWS or not. They own us and they are the only team that does.

It will be either CSF or UCLA, not both.

UCLA could likely be a 1 in CT. Traveling long distances, but I assume they'd rather go the extra 1,200 miles as opposed to coming to host in BR.

yeah, good point, so no way clemson hosts IMO

Coastal bid the myrtle beach pelicans stadium, which conveniently the pelicans are outta town for regional & super weekends

I actually think LSU getting sent on the road is exciting. It's something fresh and new that hasn't happened in over 20 years. I'd love to wreck shite in someone else's regional.

i dont really see the committee shipping UCLA across the country like that, or giving UCONN a regional as a 2 seed, but we'll see. maybe they're serious about trying to expand the sport.

My bad. That was way back in the college baseball vs. college hockey thread.

You didn't have Tuscaloosa as a potential site. Top 12 RPI and Top 10 attendance...

please read the other posts to see why winning the tournament can not, and will not, be a factor.

I'm basing it on precedent and having followed how the NCAA has done this thing for decades, not on the musings of the Rant. While they may not have the final win of the Tourney locked up, the committee will certainly take notice if LSU makes the championship game and LSU will not have lost games this weekend leading up to site selection. While that sounds obvious (because it is), many people fail to consider that. Think it doesn't matter? How many teams have cost themselves regional bids over the years by going 2 and q in their conference tourneys? If you're winning, you ain't losing.

they did it a couple years ago.. gave Michigan a host site as a #2 seed.. Arizona and Kentucky made the final of that regional, and AZ won it..

yep, they are in the mix also.. i think they are in the same boat as LSU though.. they need to make the finals to host.. and even then, with the selection before the game, i dont think they would get it over LSU..
