Clark is from Iowa and didnt want to play for them. If she was offered by UConn thats where she would have ended up

Tammany Tom
Yeah, right. The McDonalds All American, Gatorade player of the year wasn’t wanted by anyone but Iowa. Stfu!

No. He said like 2 days ago Bueckers in the best player in the tournament. She was like NPOY as a freshman then started getting hurt. I don't think regrets it.

They will be Iowa. Yearly a 5-8 seed and losing in the sweet 16 on good years.

I mean truly, this is their once in a lifetime Super Bowl

That was last year, this is a worse team with less talent around Clark.

Iowa football has won a lot of games, probably more than all but 10 or so over the last decade.

"Honestly, it was more I wanted them to recruit me to say I got recruited," Clark told ESPN in a Wright Thompson feature published Wednesday. "I loved UConn. I think they're the coolest place on Earth, and I wanted to say I got recruited by them. They called my AAU coach a few times, but they never talked to my family and never talked to me."

Ole Geno should probably call it quits after failing to see what was there.

I think it's funny how quiet the press is about this. Clark is from Iowa but didn't want to play for Iowa. She really wanted to play for UConn, who never offered her.

You think this is some slight to Iowa? Lolz. UConn WBB is the apex of the sport. They’re the Alabama football of WBB—any player would want that offer to play there.

The article also detailed how she actually committed to Notre Dame a few days before changing to Iowa because she went to a Catholic school and her family wanted her to go there. She reneged, called Iowa, called notre Dame, and told her parents she was going to Iowa to take over the sport.
