Weird spot to post this. He’s never coached college baseball and has never indicated an interest in doing so. Is that someone LSU should hire?
There are three things people want when they strive:
Money - Ben already has that
Fame - Ben already has that
Time - Ben already has that
You can add women and a few other things, but they are derivative of the big three above.
Occasionally you will see someone who has all of that, but they still sacrifice their time to get more. Elon Musk is one of those. But Ben is not one of those guys. If he was he never would have goofed off the last few years.

LSU couldn’t do shite unless CPM is gracious about it. The contract has terms, including guaranteed money and a timetable for when it gets paid. Unless CPM places some value on his free time over the next three years, LSU would have no leverage with which to negotiate.
