I know they are making one for Shag outside the P-Mac. David has been a great supporter of LSU

I'm not really a fan of statues. Maybe they should name a golf-related building, course, gree, etc after him.

He would never allow a statue. It's not his style. He's as down to earth as they get.

They should put it out in front of the LSU golf course.

Yea maybe their driving range or the winsteads video room named after him would be cool.

We should name the LSU Golf Course after him. If he won the Masters or US Open, I would feel different, but not until then.

A statue is something you do after a man retires and/or makes the Hall of Fame. I think if David gets into the HoF (which is getting more likely) you could think about a statue on the golf course or something

After he won today, did I hear a few fans chanting LSU, LSU? I thought I heard it for about 5 seconds.

He is quite an accomplished athlete who is also a very humble person and has been a great ambassador for LSU. Great finish today!

Not knowing Toms personally, my guess is he would be honored but probably would think it would be a bit over the top at this stage. But naming the University Club course after him should be a serious consideration IMO.
