Just because someone is "looking on the bright side" doesn't mean they think Coach O is doing a great job and will win a MNC next year. Some of us just choose to not belabor the issue and wallow in negativity.
Exactly, or you could say a more stable and less emotional approach.

Cool but this has NOTHING to do with how you percieve incompetence. You’re ok with it or you aren’t.

LSU Football operations as an analyst.

My years of experience in the corporate jungle taught me:
1. Senior executives worked longer hours than your basic hourly employee. They would be more likely to stay beyond 'quitting" time.
2. These senior executives were almost universally positive in their outlook and rarely over reacted over disappointing news.
3. Once the crisis point had passed, regardless of the out come, they tended to minimize the event and quickly moved on to other things

You've posted previously how highly you valued micromanaging when you were in position to do so. Odds are, if you did in fact reach the level you claim, you were a shitty executive and people hated working for you. Given your posting on this board, that actually seems very likely.

Sure Slackster, since you are such a great LSU fan, go back to California and cheer on your trees. These kids are working hard and so is the staff, why not wait till the season starts before getting your panties in a bunch?

So, what's the profiling for negatigers if we were to do one?
Mom's basement and a lot of time in hand for starters perhaps?!
Hypothetically, let's say we won the next 5 national titles in a row, would that change your life? Still, at the basement and still a lot of time to gloat. Only difference, y'all will be wearing DYNASTY t-shirts.
frick you all for all the negativity that you bring which really doesn't help the bottom-line. Win or lose, I'm an LSU fan and always will be. Learn to deal with the hand you are dealt.

1. There are times when micromanaging is the best way to complete a task. None of the good managers I worked for and with seemed to be eternally stuck in one mode or other.

Actually over all I pretty well liked, not that this was my goal. My goal was always to make my superiors like me and my work. When you achieve your goals, the bosses like you and pass out fat bonus checks to you and to your subordinates and you stay employed with the same company throughout your career.

Retired. Living life as I want. Been curious what negatigers do for a living besides staying on the rant.

Investment banking. I would encourage most of you who live with your parents to look into the financial industry.

I'm not sure what his point is honestly. Is he saying people with jobs don't have time to post on a message board and the ones who bitch all day are unemployed? Not sure that was his intention when starting this thread.
But to answer his question, I'm an attorney and work 50-60 hours a week. I post during breaks I have during the day and at night. As others have said, I have more important things in life to worry about. LSU sports is a hobby. It doesn't actually affect my happiness. If it does, then you may need to reevaluate your priorities.

I would be willing to bet I can whip your arse, and so can 95% of the board who post here.
To make fun of anyone out there making a living for their family is utterly ridiculous. Yeah, you did, your associating what you believe to be a lower IQ with manual labor.
Not everyone grew up in a stable environment and it is difficult to escape the trend.
Dad's who raise three kids often only have one shot at sending each child to school for them to better themselves. The slightest tragedy can derail the train for the whole generation.
Have a good day frickstick.

I took his question to mean that the lunatic fringe haters are unemployed worthless losers. They live with their parents and thus can be on the internet 24/7 trying to convince others to share in the misery they continually wallow in.
While at the same time suggesting the more mature, outgoing, social and optimistic posters are the ones who are employed. Have their own families and have to make decisions that affect theirs and others lives.
