Recall that Blue was the one who got smacked on the onside kick last week. Perhaps Miles and staff wanted Blue to know that they didn't think that that was his fault. His first touch as a Tiger was on the onside kick and his second was a touchdown. Personally, I thought at the time of the touchdown that the coaches wanted Blue to get off to a better start in his career. During the game last night I thought it was a sports psychology move.

I know this theory is somewhat outlandish and outside the realm of normal football discussion, but another scenario that I thought of is that Blue might have earned the 3rd spot in the rotation? Crazy as that sounds...

complaint that Ford and Ware shouls have played instead of Blue? I want to know why?

Wanting to know why is valid - and people are responding with their OPINIONS of WHY Ford should play instead of Blue.

But that was not good enough.

You demanded FACTS - such as how much yardage Ford would get IF if played.

I was responding to your demanding FACTs from a 'what-if' situation - so I posted a what-if of my own to show how STUPID that is.

get the picture now??

btw - this is an OPINION board.

If all we wanted were FACTS, we would just read the statistics of the game. anything beyond that is OPINION.

got it yet??

Les is:
A) Playing youth, everyone was bitching about him not playing youth.
B) Pissing off the rantards.
C) Fulfilling a recruiting promise.

Now you have to explain this one. How does this bear any relationship to the toic at hand? How do you attach Miles to a 60 year old plant worker in Gonzales to Ware and Ford?

Entirely possible, and if so then that sounds great for LSU, because if anyone is that much better than Ford and Ware, they must be pretty much unstoppable.

But, the question here is that does anything Miles has EVER done make you believe that he would start a true freshman over a more seasoned back - who is really good - based on a couple of practice sessions??

Miles' track record of letting the best players play, particularly at RB is without reproach. Best players always play. Pets sit the bench.

Dunno. Maybe the STAFF has more information regarding the relative skills of the players than the typical Rantard...

Ridley is far and away better than the next best guy. We've got a bunch of em so lets see how the season plays out. I was surprised that Ford didnt get in before the others though.

If Ford "did" anything, maybe it was curfew, late for a meeting once or twice? And Blue may have actually earned his chance. I'm a big MF fan, but the broadcaster said that Les liked the way that Blue took care of the ball. Maybe he hasn't fumbled in practice?

Blue must be better at what the coaches want at this point

Miles has a want to start bigger backs and Blue fits that mold. Workhorse starter(Ridley) and third down back. Blue was the first off the bench behind Ridley then a sprinkle of Murphy, Ware and Ford.

While LSU has a stable of RB's, there is no STUD RB. Ridley is the best of the bunch, if he won't put the ball on the ground. Murphy is a slot receiver at best. Ford has had trouble learning the plays. Ware should probably touch it more and Blue is a clone of Murphy but will wind up being a little better. All of the underclassmen might be backups next season to Hilliard and Hill. QB is LSU's problem, we don't have one.

Les Miles sucks because a 19 yr old chronic masterbater who never played watches 7 hours of football a week and thinks he can do it better.

Why the big uproar on who didn't play? LSU won the game. Apparently the people that DID play were enough to achieve the victory. Why is that not enough? Does it matter who didn't play? If so, they how would the result have been different? How would the result have been better? Isn't the purpose of the game to win?

For example if Morris Bart wins a big liability judgement, do you believe that after the case is settled, he sits back and agonizes over strategies he didn't employ? Or does he just go out and have a few drinks to celebrate?

That's what I get.

Now about the nonsense about plant workers and Gtown? What is with that?
