Let him rove the center of the field and light people up this year.

Looks like my prediction that jones will never see the batter's box again might be right..."Miles has talk with Jones about his future with the baseball team....Jones hasn't swung a bat in 5 weeks" (paraphrased from Morning advocate article)

you know this because early in the season he was only playing when the other team was throwing a righty? To me that isn't a sign that he can hit lefties.

So, how are you related to Gaudet again? Seriously, he isn't even playing baseball this year because of his injury, so there really is no reason to knock the decision to keep Jones

I guess we now know what to do with Chad Jones!!
Posted on 5/5/09 at 4:17 pm to Triggerduckman
i don't see why we kept him over an injured player who is STILL suffering from the injury. Unfortunately, he might not play ball again

He can see the batter's box from the pitcher's mound when he's striking people out.

uhh you do realize that he has gone to bat since spring practice? he got walked so its not an official AB but he has definitely "seen the batters box"

dguidry.. ask Chad Jones that question and see his reaction.. he will probably laugh you out of his face.. and as for never seeing the playing field.. have you watched the past two weekend series?
