No I'm not related to Gaudet. My son is a ball player at another college and he has a better swing than Jones.
This is the type of statement that makes the Rant such a "special" place.

Well, lets see video of said swing along with stats and what college he is playing at.
PUT UP or SHUT UP!!!

I got through a page of this thread and thought it was too rantaculous to continue. It never ceases to amaze me on this board but idiots just pop up everywhere.

ah, I see what this thread is all about...
jealousy
No shite. Chad Jones has a bigger penis than his son and it hurts his little feelings.

Platoon him with Mahtook/Landry and just see what works.

+1. I am hearing that he will try to rejoin the team next year.

i heard that was an option, that this could be a red-shirt year. I hope it works out for him. I think it will be tough though. Like people say, you never hear anyone say they used to have a bad back.

More often than not he looked completely out of place at the plate and often got fooled very badly. He also had about as many Ks as hits

I just had to stop commenting because some of the CRAP I read on here makes my head hurt. I just don't understand where some people come up with the stuff they put on this site.

Because the Freshmen have stepped up, Chad Jones will never see the playing field or the batter's box again!!! And a Senior was cut for that?
i guess it's that or football spring practices started and football comes first.

As I said before...Chad Jones will never see the batter's box again...two words: Mikie Mahtook. A better support player would have been Senior Gaudet. Coach made a bad mistake.

Chad Jones and Mikie Mahtook >>>>>> Your son.
It was asked earlier to put up your sons college numbers and you didn't. So GTFO.
My guess is that your son either
a) Got knocked the frick out on the football field while playing against Chad Jones at Southern Lab.
b) Got struck out by Chad Jones while playing at Southern Lab.
c) CJ hit a bomb off of your son while playing at Southern Lab.
d) All of the above.

Could he be our answer in middle relief?

This whole thread is totally pointless. WE DONT HAVE A 3RD OUTFIELDER RIGHT NOW....meaning Chad Jones WILL get a chance out there. Pontiff has started as of late...not hating on him at all, but that just shows we dont have a proven 3rd option after Mitchell and Mahtook.
Chad Jones will get a very long look in right/left field when he comes back, guaranteed.

There is at least one outfielder that I can think of that is NOT lighting the world on fire. PLus he is a talented player with tremendous upside (JM struggled his first year)

For the last time Gaudet was injured. He is trying to rehab and rejoin the team next year...
