He got the max out of the limited talent he worked with at Louisiana Tech. I don't remember Tech having one bad QB the whole time he was there. The reason he "lost his job" is because Holtz was fired from Tech, and the new coach there is a complete moron. They would beg to have Sloan back there.

I don't know exactly what made Kelly hire him, but I hope he keeps him around for as long as he can.

This should tell you and everyone else Kelly knows what he is doing. Of course we like all programs have way too living room coaches who would call for firing a guy like Kelly at the drop of the hat. Ironically they are the ones who squeal the loudest when we lose recruits because they cause doubt in these very recruits minds.

Right now they have pounced on House. Its all over social media and sports networks. These kids tune into that. I just wonder how many defensive recruits we may be missing out with because they think House may be fired. They actually think THEY know more than Kelly knows about House's skills as a DC.

They are program destroyers.

House fielded one of the worst defenses in LSU history. And you want to blame fans for pointing it out? You think the recruits didn’t notice?

Yes, these kind of posts are program destroyers. House was abolutely horrific and it was mainly scheme and lack of adjustments and refusing to try anything else that made the defense so bad. Its all coaching. Recruits have noticed that and so much smoke about House staying on, that recruits have backed off, eliminated LSU from their choice. Look at the recruit rankings on the defense side of the ball, its not pretty.

So many positive posts like this on a horrible defense are program destroyers and blowing smoke making it seem the defense is great and no issues.
