I agree with fan251.
Randle will have opportunties with man coverage.
The issue is whether JJ will throw quickly/ accurately enough on the deep patterns.
Look for OBJ to have recepts. on underneath routes

If they don't figure out how to defend option short it may be a long night for them.

Jefferson throws a decent deep ball. Short to intermediate timing stuff is his weakness.

Defensively, they will be better prepared for the option.

If they were to rewatch it then they would have a better understanding of how LSU actually won rather then how they just lost

No.... they wouldn't. They are completely delusional and do not believe what they see, even when it is shown to them many times.

i completely agree with this.
but its not technically a bad thing.
can open up other holes in their defense.

Watch the 1st half of the SECCG over and over and over....and offensively punt on 1st down but well away from the Honey Badger...

Why would they make adjustments? People on here act like when JJ was inserted the offense took off. It didn't! We got turnovers and short fields and we kicked field goals. Les will play not to lose. Keep it close and hope for the defense to win the game. Alabama does not have to change what they did to stop JJ. They did it already. Georgia held us to 0 first downs for the first half and JJ lit them up for 7 yards passing in the first half and a total of 30 for the game. And most of that yardage came after the catch. We wore Georgia and Arkansas down. We can't do that to Alabama. Stop Trent and we will be in the game.

#1 LSU 0 3 0 3 3 9
#2 ALA 0 3 3 0 0 6

reason #1, because the first game they lost.
maybe thats a good reason to change things up for them. losing is losing no matter how you look at it.

#3 ARK 0 14 3 0 17
#1 LSU 0 21 3 17 41

#14 UGA 10 0 0 0 10
#1 LSU 0 7 21 14 42

reason #2, because LSU has shown that no matter how they start off regardless if yardless are not that they can explode at ANY given time...

there, enough reasons to change things on their defensive end of the ball.

If bama focuses on the option, Hilliard will tear them up up the middle. If they put 8-9 in the box to stop the run, Jefferson and ford will kill them on the outside. Either way, we will make their fat linebackers exhausted by the 4th quarter.

Alabama can't even spell offense.....I doubt there's much that can do to produce any against our defense.

LSU is not likely to change up its offense too much and Alabama is not likely to change up its defense too much.

If I am Saban, I do not try to out-think or out-wit Miles. Defense is a read and react environment, and Bama has tremendous athletes. Saban will probably spend the preparation time staying out of their way, and I would do the same. They played LSU well enough to win the first time.

If you think Bama lost that game because their defense didn't make adjustments, you are sadly mistaken.
