QB: Regressed
RBs: same or worse for the most part
OL: Regressed significantly
TE: same to worse
WR: Regressed significantly outside Anderson

DL: about the same to slight regression
LB: no progress overall (Weeks has been the lone bright spot)
CB: Some progress, but not much at all outside of Alexander
Safety: Regressed significantly

Special Teams: Regressed significantly

This is all on coaching. Stop blaming the talent. It may not be the best and their may be some holes, but when 10 games in all you see pretty much regression across the board, it’s coaching.

Rb better with addition of durham. Oline worse loss of dellinger. Dline way better as dt as proven to be solid vs a gaping black hole. Lb better with weeks, cb better then expected all yr with low rated true soph and fr starters + working Alexander back from injury.

Safety is way worse and the few games we schemed burns into a player has fallen off. Offense figured out our offense play calling, and atm exposed how weak we are man on man, especially at lb and safety.

Kicking way worse... holder wasn't ready again yesterday on missed fg. Punting worse which didn't think possible

That was pre-season expectation not how they started out. The DL started out strong and has since regressed.

Again, the CBs have improved some (Alexander was lights out from the start once he started playing again), but I haven't seen significant improvement in the others.

Outside of Weeks, LBer has progressively gotten worse as the season has progressed.

Actually, it was the long snapper screwing up AGAIN, and he did it multiple times on FG and Punt snaps. Holder actually did an admiral job on that play, and Ramos did what he could. Slade Roy is the biggest issue in that trio. Punters actually have gotten worse somehow.

This team doesn’t execute football fundamentals of blocking and tackling well. Some of that is talent evaluation, coaching, scheme & execution by the players.

I’m most surprised at how subpar our special teams have been all 3 seasons of Kelly. How did he win with bad special teams?

Good point on the blocking. I don't think there is a good blocker at any position on the team. Our receivers have no clue how to block in space. 86 is a horrible open blocker. that is why our outside passing game in the flat is so pathetic. 66 supposdely our AA tackle is a mediocre blocker at best
This is just one of the football fundamentals that LSU is sorely lacking in.

I feel RB worse. I really thought Jackson was going to be the man and give us significant carries down the stretch

Wait what? Incorrect on RB regressing...with John Emery out on injury, Durham as a freshman has done well in our running game. This is why I don’t understand not using running game more in the first half of games. I only see it more in the second half. TE I wouldn’t say is worse. Mason Taylor has been one of the few consistent pieces to our offense. Yes he dropped a pass but he’s caught more than he’s dropped. He gets more separation than some of the WR too. Safeties were great last year. I think the main point you missed was the act of consistency but the defense overall has improved in some areas except the Safeties. That’s what happens when you hire Jake Olsen who’s primarily been a LB and make him the coach of Safeties. lol Baker brought him with him from Mizzou. Politics
