With everybody pretty much returning on the d line how is everybody feeling? I know the recruiting the d line didn't go quite as well as we all hoped. But this D line is still going to come with a ton of experience and a healthy Chaisson. I think this D line has potential to be one of the better ones we have seen in a while for LSU. Will be fun to watch.

Line should be a big force. Will have good depth. Our least untalked about recruits coming in. Chassion and Ingram (so far). I’m excited about the entire team. If we open up the offensive playbook (I know, I know) then our team can be special.

I like our interior linemen. I hope the edge rushers come along as expected.

It should be very good, but 2020 could be a different story.

Should be hopefully a little better than this year. I hope Shelvin plays NT, I think fehoko isnoutnof position there.

If Lawrence can put it all together he will be very disruptive this year .

It's all contingent on Shelvin being able to man the nose, IMO. Being able to rotate Lawrence, Fehoko, Logan and Farrell at the ends would be much better than having Fehoko shoehorned into the nose.

LSU will need 3 guys to rotate at the nose, but Shelvin has to be able to play ~50% of the snaps in my opinion.

We have good depth, and we should make a really solid run this year.

Front 7 in general will be a major strength. Return 5 of 7 starters + we get Chaisson and maybe Tyler Taylor back. This group could be great.

He hasn't demonstrated that he's capable of that. Seems silly to pin your hopes on the unicorn.

Then we're looking at the same defensive line as last season, which was good, but not great.

Yes, quite literally it will be the same dline. But when you consider Chaisson should be back and healthy, the pass rush should be improved a bit. Losing Devin White obviously hurts the Front 7, but I think we've got some guys who can do a sufficient if not great job in his stead.

Not if Shelvin can be a starter. Fehoko at end vs. nose makes it a drastically different line.

IKA will be able to play a relief role and I truly belief we won't be giving up much!
