I don't follow recruiting like I once did. I noticed when I received my season tickets the little booklet with team, gameday information that he went to my HS -- just 44 years apart.

He was highly recruited but doesn't have many stats yet. I think he looks great in the minimal videos we have seen. I can only judge how fluid he moves, we don't see anything else.

He certainly looks the part. Doesn't look quite as good as what Danielle Hunter did in 2014 but hes pretty damn close. His HS tape was pretty darn good but he was a bit raw in terms of technique. He didn't play a bunch at Tenn the last two years with a bombined like 300 defensive snaps with roughly 250 coming last year, so not a lot to go off of. But the Arkansas game he showed some flashes. Sterling Lucas and the staff should significantly help in his technique but there is no way of knowing what his technique looks like since there are no team periods that the media is attending. I wouldn't expect him to even have Swinson '24 production but with Prince on the other side he doesn't need to. I just hope he does his job in the run game setting the edge.

I think he's going to be one of those huge variance guys this year.

He might be okay and eventually skipped over by Brown etc. this season.

He might be an all SEC double digit sack guy (esp if we're playing with the lead a lot and forcing teams to throw the ball all season).

I don't think either outcome would really surprise me.

He's projected as the starting SDE opposite Princewell. Camp reports are he's looked good, but no one really knows how that's going to look game 1. We just don't have any proven DEs outside of Princewell since Reliford went down.
