Agree 100% drops way too many balls doesn't get seperation on deep routes doesn't out jump smaller guys doesn't fight enough for 50/50 balls. Right now he's a 3rd 4th rounder at best and will not be on the field next year if he goes pro. He needs way more polish for example Reuben randall was an outstanding wr for us his jr year way ahead of where dupre is right now and when he got to New York the word was he had no idea how to run routes and it took a year for him to get in the field 3 years before he was a factor. If dupre leaves now he might not have a pro career past 2 or 3 years.

NFL drafts on potential. He will light it up at the combine with his athletic ability and be a top 2 round pick.

His ability to grab the ball out of the air is not very strong, if he improves this year or maybe next he can compete at the next level. The way we waits for the ball and his inability to win the ball with DB's is a weakness the pro scouts will sniff this out.

All the other abilities are there, and remember we had WR's who dropped passes and ended up with good careers Odell being one of them and his junior year he caught everything, maybe Dupre needs another year.

I think it depends on how scouts view him. If they view him as soft and a WR that does not play like his size, he might not even be drafted. If they view him as yet another LSU WR that could not reach his potential under Miles, probably before the 2nd or 3rd Round.

He is soft. He needs another year to impress and toughen up. I see him as a rarely used situational NFL receiver as of now.

He is a very lackadaisical route runner who gets minimal separation. There are great skill people with very technical skill sets. He needs to work on form and use of his hands.
