We have the best basketball player in college, plus an incredibly talented supporting cast. We should have a good chance in every game.

KenPom has LSU with a 14% chance of winning. Sounds about right to me.

my head says LSU gets pummeled but I agree with some others here. You never know with this team. Very unpredictable, very inconsistent.

I am shocked that any chance at all is admitted to on the rant.

For all of his faults, Jones' teams have generally been able to "get up" for the big games. UK is good (though not anywhere close to last season's team) and has the name recognition, but quite honestly, this might be the second best team LSU will play all season. Hopefully they come out with more emotion from the jump and are able to sustain it. In all 5 SEC games thus far LSU has been a much better second half team. The SECN guys said it after the game Sat., but it's almost as if LSU is willing to do just enough to win. They seem to have an extra gear that they can get into when pressed, but they don't always play with that focus and desire.

A&M is a very good defensive team (LSU should remember that from last season). I don't think they can afford to slop around in the first half in this game and expect to turn it on in the second half. Simmons should be focused. Hopefully one or more of the group of Hornsby/Blakeney/Patterson/Quarterman can get hot from deep. If last year was any indication, A&M is going to give LSU some chances from deep. LSU has to connect in order to give Simmons/Victor some room to operate inside

Lets stick with "no chance", that way when they win, we can all be like....BOOM!!!

Last year in both games we had A&M beat, both games we played great basketball until 6 or 7 minute mark then we reverted back to our old bad habits. This year if we build a lead we have to stay alert their 2 guys, house & Jones, are legit players and I know Jones has been the talk this year but house is a monster and can light it up quick. Tim and tone will have to be on their a game defensively. Caruso is also one of the more underrated players in the sec, hes the second best pg and some will say the best. Hes smart and is a threat from the outside. This is a good team and it will be a tough game to win. If we can stay close in the first half I think we can pull away in the second but its hard for me to bet on us.

Better chance than he gives LSU at aTm... Auburn was at home. LSU is on the road.

Valentine heild dunn and Ben are all interchangeable as best player personally I think heild is the best. No need to come and say this every time someone says Ben is the best.

I see that too Alt, a bit of a flip the switch mentality. They know how good A&M is and I think that will motivate them to give one of the better efforts of the year.
