What am I missing? This is not a CLK decision IMO

Everyone has all of these opinions on Kiffin doing this or that and getting us in trouble blah blah blah.
This is not a CLK decision, this will be an LSU leadership decision based on the legality of the situation.
CLK informed leadership that if there is an avenue for these guys to play, he would like to have them. LSU leadership and legal counsel will run the traps with player reps, the courts, NCAA and SEC. If the courts deem it legal for these players to play and the NCAA/SEC have zero legal authority to punish LSU, then leadership will inform Lane they can play. If there is a way that LSU can be punished, LSU will inform Lane that the players cannot play. LSU is not going to jeopardize anything for this situation. The players in the suit are pushing this and the university will stand by on clarity of what is and isn't legal.
Does anyone honestly think CLK is going to tell LSU leadership to kick rocks, we are playing kids that will get the university into any potential legal/financial/membership trouble?
Everything else is fricking BS nonsense.
I would typically never come into town for an early September game with the Louisiana heat and humidity (i save the trip for october/novmeber)...but this Saturday is going to be like nothing we have ever seen before. I am bringing my girls with me for what will be an experience to have with them that we will remember forever! That stadium is going to be rocking, the energy is going to be off the charts and the hype for the tigers is unreal. Buckle up and enjoy! Geaux Tigers!

It’s all clickbait bullshite, but some people are actually buying into it.
I have a lot of fun talking shite to all my traditionally conservative Aggie buddies about how they’ve suddenly become sheep, blindly buying into the “liberal ESPN narrative” being pushed by the media.

for me it seems mostly Ole Piss and Vol fans that are making it the biggest deal...no surprise there with their butt hurt hate for Kiffin.

We have a GM and an AD. Kiffin isn’t the one dealing with all the nonsense. Not sure why people think he is in a room talking to lawyers all day instead of at practice and preparing for Saturday. If we get word they can play they will play. If not they won’t. It’s not a big deal.
But the NCAA created this nightmare when it allowed judges in any state to rule in favor of their favorite team. So until they grow a pair and make rules it’s only gonna get worse.
