At his size he would neve4 fly a jet, more likely cargo or refueling

While he could fly heavies, you still have to train in and build hours in T-38s and that’s where the size issue comes in.

Unless you were talking about a C-130

Though Ted was awesome I contend Lou Gehrig would have been the greatest giving the last three years of playing were diminished and the end of his career also cut short. I hate the Yankees BTW

Another excellent choice. Lou did have the help of murderers row though.

Joe DiMaggio was unreal as well. He probably was one of the fastest that has ever step foot on a diamond. He could get the balls that nobody else could and was unreal from home the first. Only the design of the uniform could make him look a little slower than he really was. He also had great power. And I agree the Yankees suck and this is coming from a long time Yankee fan until the 80s.

Make 50K a year to fly 80 million dollar jets or make 80 million to play a game. He probably wouldn’t be as elite a pilot as he is a pitcher, but one job definitely pays better.

Most of you have no clue about aircraft. You were much more intelligent before you posted.

97% of all aircraft in the Air Force are not “jets”. They are turbofans not turbojets. Turbojets are inefficient turds.
