The rant wanted the guy fired until we played Tennessee the second round in Omaha.
We literally went weeks with bullpen guys who couldn’t throw strikes.

I swear half of you have Alzheimer’s. Our pitching outside of Skenes was a concern for 90% of the season. Do you remember how bad our pen was? How bad Hurd was?

Johnson wasn’t very good & many people suspect by the end of the year, Jay Johnson was in control of the staff

Lol. Exactly. This board shite all over Wes Johnson almost all season long last year.
And I really think CJJ cut Wes’s nuts off when it came out early that he was leaving to take the HC job at Georgia. I think CJJ made the pitching decisions in Omaha. Wes Johnson did not visit the mound.

I doubt our pitching coach magically forgot how to be a pitching coach. If Jay, schlock, and pat Casey like him then he’s perfectly qualified to me too
