Ludwig may be a good player in the southland conference, but here he hasn't been a great player. Give it to him he's been loyal and he's a tiger for life.

I don't mind Ludwig. He plays hard and we knew what we were getting when we brought him in.

Ludwig is not as bad as everyone makes him out to be.

He's a role player who shouldn't see much time versus athletic teams that take the guards/forwards off of the dribble.

However, if we run into a Butler/Indiana St./fill in the blank with a team that starts primarily white, heady players, Ludwig can absolutely play a role.

I've watched so many NCAA tournaments games where these heady, senior laden mid-major teams frustrate the hell out of teams like LSU. Wisconsin was a prime example.

Ludwig is MADE for a game like that. UCI and Boise St. this year were both games Ludwig had a role in.

I like Storm off the bench, for whatever reason.

Seems more motivated this year to me. And, he's healthier than he's been since early in his sophomore year. Best 6th man in the SEC at the moment.

Its like we really make the other team confident with our starting lineup, and then, we send in the second unit to snatch the victory..that dang Honey Badger persona has infected LSU. Its like "thanks for the treat, stupid!"

I agree. Purdue in the first round was pretty bad as well.

where the frick is he going? Don't you dare say the NBA He's here until he's a junior at the very worst case scenario. I'd almost guarantee he's a 4 year player.

I'd nominate Purdue, UCLA, and UAB (2005 tourny) as well.

Also the Tennessee game with Butch Pierre as coach four years ago. The final was like 47-45.

Wisconsin was the worst though. I hate Bo Ryan and everything about Wisconsin basketball.

Hickey is a 4-year player. He's the perfect college player, because he is excellent but a marginal pro. He could definitely be a pro, but probably not early entry.

Shoe, I've watched most of the first 11 games(not the last one) ,that kid's is money. When Big Hamilton's setting the screen up high for him, it's hell to tell the captain .His long range, midrange shooting along with floaters and floating banks shots makes him formiable. What I seen is when he's motivated he can't be allowed any space, because he's looking to hurt you and CAN.He does a pretty good job of finding space with his dribbling, strenght and quickness and when he does, he doesn't pass by the window of opportunity (too often). If and when he gets more physical and mental endurance he'll be taking over more games with scoring and setting others up too hopefully. Comparing his effectiveness and consistency to the other GOOD freshman ,he is way ahead.
I don't see him in college 3 more years. But than again it depend if he seizes the moment in a high stakes NCAA tourney game on when the pro talk starts.

I think our entire team will be 4-year players. Trent bringing the magic back!

O'Bryant is the only one I could see leaving. You guys are gonna be impressed by Malik Morgan. Been following him for a while.
