I couldn't understand even after the perfect season why we couldn't land the big fish like previous championship seasons. We couldn't even land second choice on the assistant coaches. Ed seems like a good guy to work for and it just wasn't adding up. Well now we know Ed had other things on his mind and obviously football wasn't the top choice. The assistant coaches around college must have known alot more than we knew because Ed was getting shot down left and right and this was the downfall because Ed was only as good as his assistant coaches. my .02. Let's close this chapter and hire a HEAD COACH that can run a top notch program and stay relevant year to year

We had the #4 and #3 classes in the country the past two years. “Missed on so many top recruits”

I am going more along the offensive line here. Just seems like we always were in running but never signed the Alpha.

im sure any coaches thinking about wanting to come here talked to aranda and got the skinny on what a cluster frick ed has going on here and chose better options

and im equally sure any players thinking about wanting to come here talked to the players here and got the skinny on what a cluster frick ed has going on here and chose better options

people were talking to people behind the scenes so that was what was going on

Good recruiter. Terrible head coach.

Well this is clearly an effort to hire a coach that Arch Manning can't say no to. Maybe Tony Dungy? Mike Tomlin? If Herm Edwards can do well these guys should clean up.

We sure did in positions of need. You can have the #1 class in the country but if all the recruits play similar positions that will come back to haunt you. OL is a perfect example. It doesn’t matter how many great skill people you have if you can’t get the ball to them

It’s no secret that O didn’t get along with a lot of his assistants.
