It was State at the end not OM and NM State...please. I think Harris has more talent, but he is a riskier option at this point.I'd love to give him a series or two with a special package.

True that. I'm sure Harris would have looked substantially better if they had played then the way they're playing now.

Also, this is how scoring is actually tracked statistically:

LSU 2014 individual stats

How could you disrespect Colby D like that?

That's a valid point. I don't believe we will ever know now.

Exactly. With two losses already, it's not like we're winning a national title this year so I'm not sure why we're so concerned with "game management."

Be real.. People would be calling for Les' head if we lost to Ole Miss and Florida because we started Harris and Harris performed like he did against Auburn

And I'm for Harris getting PT

The problem with Harris is that he shite the bed so bad against Auburn.

not just poor play, but he couldn't even get the plays in.

Clearly he needs more time. I think he is better than Jennings, but jennings know who and how to hand the ball off and if you can't do that you can't play.

The point is nimrod......Harris should be getting a few more reps in games....not rotting away on the bench. Absolutely no reason this should be happening. If he starts shitting the bed....yank him.

You're holding one half of football against this kid, when he's looked great otherwise. A little investment giving him more reps in real games, and he will be good to go. But certain people who think like you won't let him.

Again, I'm not saying he's definitely better than Jennings, but he has earned much more opportunity than he's gotten.

Yeah all those TDs against NMSU are so outstanding. You people are miserable. Harris isn't ready to be a starter. Case closed.

Neither was Beckwith. He's got it now.

Wut

People want to win games. Harris clearly has a higher ceiling and I think he's our future (probably starting next year), but many (including, you know... coaches) believe Jennings is our best shot at winning the games remaining on the schedule, which is the goal.

If we're all in agreement that our chances at competing for a national title this year are slim to none, why waste precious opportunity to develop our "future" quarterback (as you put it)? When coaches put "win the next game" over "win the next title", I have to question their commitment to championship football.

To win games. What kind of message does it send to players/fans/recruits if you just pack it in and start planning for next year?

What kind of message are you sending your "future" QB, when you think playing him in a two-loss-and-counting season sends the message that you're "packing it in"?

Oh, and trust me, I don't think people like Malachi Dupree and John Diarse (who have combined for *one* catch in the last three games) are going to be upset by Harris playing.

Nor do I think recruits would be upset by it, since our offense looks like it's running around with one leg with Jennings at the helm.

Not really. Outside of the UK game, where he did play, there's no reason to be mixing it up in conference. Maybe if A&M continues to lay down he can get some run there.

Depends on how well the team finishes the season. Could give everyone hope for next year.

It'l come down to how well Jennings handles the Bama game. I don't believe Miles and Co. are beyond replacing Jennings in the second half if he's turning the ball over.

How does one pass attempt against UK help him develop?

I hate that turnovers are the only way Jennings gets put on the bench. He could go 2 for 24 with 17 yards, but if he doesn't throw three interceptions and fumble twice, he's golden.
