McMillan is not really in the running to start. I'm sure he's competing well, but he can't beat out Burrow or Brennan. Don't be silly.

I fully expect you are wrong. No way McMillan starts at QB for LSU, about a snowballs chance in hell.

McMillan was shite down by Les Miles because his iq was more than Miles could deal with. Word

I don't doubt that he's a bright young man.

They all need to be prepared to start.

See Derrius Guice

At any time, the other 3 are maybe 1 play from being “the next guy up”.

wouldn't the 4th stringer be at least 3 plays away from next guy up?

Before Burrow transferred I thought he would win the starting job. Didn't know if he would keep it throughout season, but I knew with the way the OL looked, the deficiencies of the other QBs, his playmaking ability, and his experience, that he would get the early nod. When Burrow came into the picture I had no doubt Burrow would be starting.

McMillan will be the backup, and Narcisse will get some packages in the red zone. Brennan will redshirt and gain weight.

McMillan looked the best during the spring. He's mobile enough, and is fairly accurate. I don't think he's big enough to take an SEC beating week in and week out, but without having seen Burrow, you could do worse than McMillan. If Narcisse was more accurate, I'd love him running this team. He can't hit the side of a barn inside 15 yards though. Nice deep ball, but he's just a redux of Jordan Jefferson, Harris, and Jennnings. Brennan is just way too frail at this point. He's needs to bulk up to survive in this league. Burrow has the size, athleticism, accuracy, and smarts to be a really good QB. I think the start is his come Sept 2nd.
