weekend tournament

I like this arrangement that LSU has set this weekend by playing vs. 2 different teams. I remember they did something similar in '05.
I would like to see a 4 team tourney set up if some corporate sponsors would kick in some funds. It could something like the tourney that used to take place in the Super Dome w/ various sponsors acquiring the naming rights over the yrs.
Two northern teams from different conferences could be enticed to fly to B.R. for some games in baseball appropriate weather. Bring in another team from LA to boost attendance for non-LSU games. I think the format would like like this:

Fri. afternoon: Northern team #1 vs. other team from LA

Fri. evening: Northern team #2 vs. LSU

Sat. afternoon: Northern team #2 vs. other team from LA

Sat. evening: Northern team #1 vs. LSU

early Sun. afternoon: Northern team #1 vs. Northern team #2

late Sun. afternoon: other team from LA vs. LSU

Give the out-of-state teams an earlier start time on Sun. to catch their planes back home on Sun. If the tourney organizers can sign a contract w/ the Big 10, Big East or other conferences so they will send 1 member each, that would help sell the concept to the fans. Maybe ESPNU would interested in broadcasting?
