Lot of options and pitching depth and Kelly will hopefully develop the arms even more
Will be interesting to see who Johnson goes with

Coleman
Edwards
Floyd
Hilliard
Hellmers
Labas(assuming he comes back)
Lansville
Reyzelman

Just so many good options, heck money and fontenot could have a chance

There are a couple of others from the transfer portal who might figure in as well. They've been talked about here, and neither have been drafted in the first two days so they're definitely in play.

But you should throw Fontenot into your list, because that was his ask in coming back. He's going to get a shot at starting on the weekends.

Not to be ignorant but which one. There’s a freshman coming in with the same last name

I'll bet there are at least 2 more possible starting pitching names not on campus yet.

I love how a small school guy that worked majority out of the bullpen and threw 35 innings with a 6+ERA is now a potential SEC Friday night starter, never change rant.

Best Guess would be Whoever the best guy ends up being between Fontenot/Hellmers/Coleman/Edwards /Transfers, then Hilliard on Saturday, then either wholestaff on Sunday or even better if we get a clear number 2 from the mentioned Friday night battle.

Based on who is coming back from this pitching staff there is no reason that he wouldn't be in the mix. You also leave out that he was returning from TJ. No pitcher on this staff has numbers that says SEC Friday night starter.

Friday - Fontenot
Saturday - Hilliard
Sunday - Lansville
Midweek - Hellmers

Could be deadly

My gut is
Fontenot
Hilliard
Coleman
I just think it would drive a lineup nuts to have to face a slow sick breaking ball righty then a command lefty the next day.

Money is on Coleman, Hellmers, Edwards. But someone like Edwards or hellmers could be replaced through transfer portal

Gotta think Hilliard is in, no? He was our best starting pitcher down the stretch Marceaux included.
