Becuse you lose a good 30-40% of anyone potentially going to the game if it’s a 9pm start. Another 10-20% will leave early just becuse it’s late.

There are a lot of older people and families with little kids that go to baseball games. It's not surprising that they don't want to be out at 2am.

I mean it is what it is. That Tenn crowd, while obviously half full, was more engaged and rowdier than most regular season crowds
