Ack starting game. Wofford runs to much to start Hurd. Hurd is very good until there are base runners, then he falls apart.

Damn man I'm so tired of questioning the bullpen, even last years team was the same way. Just had enough guys step up & throw legacy games. Hope Jay figures it out off-season.

That’s why Skip didn’t care about SEC torurnament. Vandy went 2 and barbecue, LSU and SC are in the losers bracket. Tennessee is at home in a ridiculously easy regional. That’s the final four SEC tournament teams.

Ack wins you tomorrow morning and Hurd wins you tomorrow afternoon. Then you pitch Coleman and do whatever it takes to win the regional. Herring will have a masterclass some game in there.

I would start Kade Anderson vs Wafford and save Ackenhausen/ Hurd/ herring for North Carolina.

I get it you have to win first but waffords pitching left is absolutely atrocious. If we can’t run up the score in that game then we shouldn’t be in the championship anyway

I don't disagree with your reasoning. You don't want to risk losing the game at hand, but you have to think ahead, whether coaches want to admit it or not. I've always felt like you have to be willing to take risks to play the long game. However, I really haven't been inspired by anything Anderson has done outside of midweek play, and that also faltered toward the end of the season. If this were last year's lineup and I felt we could trust our bats to blow up Wofford pitching, it would be different.

It would be great, though, if LSU did come out and score 15 plus runs to where maybe Anderson could pitch the back half of the game by himself and save the rest of the arms. I just don't want to run him out there to start and get way behind early. If we somehow get this regional to Monday, pretty much everyone will have to pitch at some point, anyway, so I can still see some logic in starting him in the morning.

A lot would be solved if just Tommy White got out of his rut.

Which is equivalent to our relievers on the weekday game.

He’s 3-2 with a 4+ ERA against the Southern Conference.

He would be a midweek guy In The SEC.
